The Digital Humanities Workshop Series introduces students to fundamental research methodologies in the digital humanities, with a specific focus on their application to Holocaust studies. Through hands-on exploration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), database analysis, and text-based analytical tools, students will examine how digital approaches can illuminate new perspectives in Holocaust research. Participants will engage with current research projects that demonstrate how these digital methodologies contribute to our understanding of Holocaust history, spatial patterns, testimonies, and documentary evidence.
