German Language courses are offered to Wess-Livnat students by the Haifa Center for German and European Studies (HCGES). Every semester the Haifa Center for German and European Studies offers German courses with different levels and intensities. The courses offered by the HCGES follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (levels A1-C2). They use an integrated concept of language teaching – improving reading, writing, hearing and speaking abilities. Through a variety of activities, these courses strengthen the students' communication abilities These courses focus on important vocabulary, grammar structures, and communication abilities according to the level and the students’ needs. The teaching book used is Schritte International and extra material provided by the teacher. The teaching language is German.

Yiddish Language instruction is offered for both beginner and intermediate levels by the University of Haifa general studies program. As the course is available to all University of Haifa students, not only international students, Wiess-Livnat students interested in the beginner's course must feel comfortable with the Hebrew alphabet. The course uses the Weinreich textbook materials.
