Historical overview - Buchenwald Memorial

Internship Position:

The purpose of the internship is getting to know the research and educational activities of the Buchenwald memorial. This includes: participation in educational events, e.g. in international summer camps, lectures and workshops for vocational groups, working in selected projects, e.g. the new knowledge base of the subcamp system, development of the application for the preparation of visits to the memorial and working with the memorial’s archival collections and the collection of audio and video testimonies.

The exact tasks will be coordinated individually for each student according to his/her abilities and the needs of the institute.
