Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, New York, NY

The Museum seeks a candidate for a 3-4 months internship to contribute to its initiatives involving survivor testimony (willing to consider a shorter time). This project offers the opportunity to conduct research and curate a body of testimony to accompany upcoming exhibitions and programs. Topics may include but are not limited to anti-Semitism, Jewish life, and the Holocaust.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct research on the Museum’s collections

- Create testimony descriptions

- Produce materials to be used in exhibitions and programs

- Propose methods and tools to increase public engagement with testimony

Requirements:

- Strong English language skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

- Ability to conduct research

- Ability to make creative connections with materials

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
