International internships are generally between 4-6 weeks long. The internships are unpaid positions. The Weiss-Livnat program will provide financial assistance covering the costs of flights and accommodation for the duration of the internship of an amount up to $1,500 in the case of internships in Europe. In the case of internships in the U.S, the host institution will provide an additional $1,500.
The candidates will be selected by the host institutions upon submission of an essay, C.V., recommendation letter, and a Skype interview.
The exact nature of each internship position changes from year to year according to the institution’s needs and the student’s capabilities. A basic overview of the projects offered to the students are described below. More details will be provided during the Skype interview.
This offer is exclusive to the students of the Weiss-Livnat program. All students from all cohorts who have not yet graduated are allowed to submit applications.
The selected students will be required to take part in a preparatory seminar during the summer semester, which will be held at the university.
We encourage the students to apply for more than one internship to increase their chances of participation.
Students who begin their studies in Fall of 2019 and who are selected for an international internship will start their internships in Fall-Winter of 2020-21. The exact dates will be decided upon by the students and the institution.
